The Mercedes AMG GT Concept is a new high performance four-door model that joins the AMG GT family. This model is not simply a sports car that extends the wheelbase and adds two doors.

With the EQ Power + design introduced on the W08 F1, the AMG GT Concept features a high-performance hybrid engine. Combined with the dual-turbocharged VUMNUMX V8 petrol engine similar to the two-door version, for a total capacity of up to 4.0 horsepower.

The AMG GT Concept completely defeated the powerful Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid, which produced the horsepower 671. The AMG GT Concept can accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in just under 3 seconds. "It is the boundary of a super sports car," says AMG director Tobias Moers.

The "slick" concept brings new aerodynamic elements to the AMG GT Concept such as nano-fiber daytime running lights, a ceramic-carbon brake system with energy recovery.

All this technology packed into a high-performance four-door. Mercedes has also been a pioneer in the four-door coupe segment since the debut of the CLS five-model CLUMX.

According to Daimler, the current AMG GT Concept is still under construction. There will be changes when this four-door coupe is officially available on the market. AMG also said it will release a concept inspired by the F1 supercar at this year's Frankfurt show.

While the Maybach brand focuses on comfort and luxury, AMG develops specialized performance models.
