Lamar Hickson admitted to police that he was playing Pokemon Go while driving a car. "If you want to catch them all, you have to take the risk," he said. Because of that, I stopped in the middle of the highway… ”.
Fortunately for Lamar Hickson, no one was seriously injured in the accident, but this raised concerns about future traffic accidents.
More heartbreakingly, most recently, on July 20, a truck driver had to die unjustly when he was hit by another vehicle going in the opposite direction. His car exploded and he died soon after. The person driving in the wrong lane just to hunt Pokemon accidentally killed him. Rachel Trent - the truck driver's son - later posted a warning on Facebook: "My father lost his life because of this stupid game. Please don't mention the word Pokemon Go in front of me. If someone plays it, please don't play it while driving. I don't want to see another disaster similar to the one that befell my family because of this game."
